to add to that as well. the armature "swipes" x amount of degree...when u lower the car the armature actually might end up being beyone the "range" of what's allowable by the car's computer...so it thinks somethings wrong and throw off the AFS light. adjusting the mounting point of the sensor will put it back in the "safe" range as well.

I am so glad I saw this thread. My light is flashing it's butt off. This didn't happen with the 06 so that leaves me to assume the shop that did that car knew about it and corrected it....whereas the shop that did the 07 are clueless. At least I know where to take it if the dealer gives me any problems.

Just got back from the dealer. Once they saw the springs had been changed, they wouldn't work on the car through warranty. Wouldn't take anything apart to diagnose. They speculated it could be broken sensors and gave me a price to replace them. All tolled, about 1G. Of course it would be signifcantly less if the 2 sensors don't need replacing or if only 1 needs replacing. I told them about the leveling arm but they would try to readjust it without knowing who's paying.
I'll take it to the guys who lowered the car and get them to pay. Stay tuned!

ok i'll give away his trade secret...although i didnt see what exactly what he did i noticed that he fiddled w/ the rear leveling arm for the headlights...apparently he just did some adjustment where it's attached to the lower arm so that the leveling arm is articulated that much. that's basically all he did.

For the guys that have adjusted the arm enough for the AFS to stop blinking: how much did you actually adjust it? Anyone have a picture of where the arm sits AFTER you've adjusted? Thanks!

How much adjustment did you guys need to impose? We kept slowly moving the position throughout the range, but the AFS wouldn't stop blinking. Any suggestions? Any after-adjustment pics of the position would be great too!
Thanks!
