Cross drilled rotors - question???
Just got my cross drilled rotors/EBC green pads on last Thursday...they are the ones from the group buy that happened last year. My friend had them sitting in his garage all this time so I bought them off of him.
First impression is that they stop WAYYYY better than stock. When I brake hard or somewhat hard, it sounds like gears grinding down or like the sound when your tire is rubbing against the inside of your fender. Is this because of the slotted/crossed drill rotors. Is the sound normal? Any help appreciated...thanks.

Yes, that's normal, mine do it too.... I was worried about mine for a long time, then Dex got his and I heard the same 'fbpt fbpt fbpt' sound on his.

I just ordered e-coated rotora slotted rotors with the axiss ultimate brake pads.
I plan on getting them installed in about a week or 2. I promise to write up something about this down the road.
