Default TIEN Street Advance Z

Hi CL!

I just bought these coils.. Anyone have experience with them?

https://www.redline360.com/tein-stre...FYa3wAod_Q8BDA

I was wondering with these coil overs.. How could I look something similar to the image below.. my goals for now is to just drop the IS on stock 18s and have the car look flush and not 'slammed' per se. Also no rubbing issues. I will eventually buy wheels but will want to stay with 18s and not have to do any kind of fender work, maybe fender roll at most but would like to avoid that as well. what do you guys feel are the best specs to achieve this?

A started point I feel that would not rub on a 2" drop
Wheel Size Front: 18x8.5
Wheel Size Rear: 18x9.5
Offset Front: +35
Offset Rear: +35
Tire Size Front: 225/40/18
Tire Size Rear: 255/40/18

I know the image below are probably 19s but how could I get this with 18s?

I recently bought the same coilovers (came in on Wednesday) and I'll be installing myself on saturday which is tomorrow lol, I also have stock 18s so I'll post some pictures when the install is complete! I believe I'll need spacers as everyone I ask seems to say so but I'll post the pics without the spacers

Awesome. I just ordered mine Monday. Hopefully they get here soon. It is required to get an alignment afterwards right? and What are you using to help you do it yourself? I found some videos like the Raceland coilover install video. Also just bought a torque wrench to help me out.

I'm in the same boat right now about dropping on my stock 18's. saving for some 20's in the future. Post your pics when installed. I'm looking into the BC's.

Install went well, don't have pictures right now as I am at work but I'll try to take some later if it's not dark! I ordered 15mm H&R spacers for the front and 20mm for the rear, going to look great, good luck with your install!

I've had these coils for a few months now and really like them.
For budget suspension they ride well, go low, and build quality is nice. You can easily go as low as the cars in the photos.

Here is my install with the TEIN Street Advance Z. I'm thinkin about going with this set up down the road.. What do you guys think about fender work? Will there be any?

Front: 18x8.5 +30 -- 225/35/18
Rear: 18x9.5 +35 -- 265/35/18

Second option
Front: 18x9.5 +35 -- 245/35/18
Rear: 18x9.5 +35 -- 265/35/18

Forgot to mention ride..

I set it up the way the manual tells you to. I believe there are a total of 20 clicks... turn to stiffest setting (clockwise) and 11 clicks back (counter clockwise) for the front, 10 clicks back for the rear.

I feel they are super bouncy compared to stock. But I'm sure that can be fixed with a few clicks towards stiff. Thinking maybe 8 clicks back from stiffest for front and 7 for rear.

Overall, I REALLY like these coils. The ride is comfortable and the build quality of the struts are on par with some I've seen on other cars. Definitely worth the money vs buying the stock struts.

Looks great! I like those ISC wheels. Check out the " rolling on 18s " thread. TONS of pages with pics and specs. I think that will help you decide on wheel choice and also seeing what offsets those folks are running.

Hey bbaugher, they do look like the ISC wheels but they're actually the 2012 is250 wheel. My car came with them when I bought them, I'm not sure these are what came on them from factory because my car is a 2011.

Thanks for the thread! I'm looking through it right now. So many nice set ups!

Ohhhhhhhhh, lol. Good luck with the wheel hunt. Im about to tackle the same. Cant decide between 18s or 19s. Lowered in H&R so I cant go nearly as low as you can which makes 18" wheels look larger.
