Wheels/tyre coilovers Q
New here, only just registered.. I'm not sure if this is the right section to put this in but I'll explain my predicament.
Car: 2006 IS220d (same chassis as IS250 RWD)
I've started to build my vip IS and just went and ordered a set of rare AME wheels that are 19x9+25 front, 19x10+25 rears and plan on putting 215/35 front and 235/35 rear to get a little stretch on the Tyre, helping arch clearance also.
I'm on the lookout for coil overs, at the moment looking at BC Racing BR Type RS ( http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/applicati...type-rs-3.html )
and its giving a few different choices, spring rates, and an "extra low" option.. I do plan on putting the car quite low, but don't want wheels/tyres to foul on arches.
Is there any recommendation of a good coilover spring rate that would give maximum stiffness as I do use the car daily and it is driven the odd time on some crappy back roads,
Martin.
