Default No rubber with these?

Hi guys,
So I ordered these tops for my front springs. I recently acquired some used Espelir springs with new struts. I noticed the rubber on the top hats was crumbling so I ordered these tops assuming they came with the rubber. They did not so I'm wondering if their is a way to order new ones? I can't find a part number. Do I even need them? The third pic you can see where my thumb is has no rubber going around it for the strut to sit on.

Dude,

I believe the rubber you're referring to is the top of the flexible OEM boot/bellows/insulator protecting the strut as shown in number 9 on the diagram. Over time the flexible accordion bellows portion of the boot breaks away from the top portion and can make it appear as though they are two separate parts, which they are not.

There is hard rubber surrounding the part with the hole. Always replace the strut mount with new shocks. When the rubber fails inside the mount, you cannot torque the shock top nut, it will spin. And eventually you will get a thumping noise in the trunk. I used Monroe, too.

If your new springs came with hats on top, NO do not use the stock strut mount setup. Keep them just in case you want to go back to stock components.
