I drive an '06 IS and try to keep it regularly maintained as money allows. Lately, I've been noticing a creaking sound whenever a passenger gets in the back seat. I am guessing this a wearing down of the shocks but I'm not noticing the nose dip when I brake (except for the rare occasion when I have to brake pretty hard). Is there anything else this could be besides the shocks?

parking brake? I've always had a small creak sound when getting in my car, even after changing to coilovers.
