Default F Sport Sway Bars or RR Racing USRS

Hey CL, just trying to get some opinions here.
Looking for my next handling mod and am torn between the two upgrades. Extensive reading of both review threads and impressions and I haven't really found my answer. People have praised them both for being essential performance upgrades for the 2IS and I do end up planning on getting them both for the car sometime in the future, but not sure what order I should go with - Sway 1st USRS 2nd or vice versa. I'd like to get them both at once ideally but have tried to slow down my modding for a little while. Both installs also being relatively easy I hear.

F Sport Sway Bars (F & R)
- tighten up the handling by reducing body roll

RR Racing USRS
- better braking
- no brake dive under heavy braking
- better steering feel
- better turn in
- eliminates inner tire wear
- does require an alignment

In my opinion, I'd just do the rear sway bar at $200 plus the RR Racing LCA bushing. Upgrading just the rear favors the way I drive; so I stopped there.

^I thought about that too but then again if I change my mind the front sway bar only comes in the set and not by itself. The rear bar makes the biggest difference but I'd probably want the set, can't stand only having one half of an upgrade

The upgrade is not really one half ... you can look at it as the rear makes 90% of difference and the front is 10%. But if you want both though, you should get both.

This OP of this thread provides the most comprehensive review on whether or not you should purchase the F&R sway bar set or just the rear sway bar:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...rs-review.html

My personnel experience is that the rear sway bar is the best bang for the buck handling mod in terms of improved agility and turn-in response but the front sway bar does add a noticeable improvement to the stability and balance of the car when cornering.

Thanks for the responses. I've seen and read through that thread already. I definitely want both. Gville's post made it tempting to forfeit one of the bars in order to get both the sway bar and USRS in one go. I think I'll get the sway bar set first and the USRS later.

Any opinion on the IS-F front sway versus the one Megan sells (I believe Megan is recommending using adjustable links with their bar)? The F-Sport FSB is a bit hard to come by on it's own.

Front fsport sway for sale in classifieds here:-). Sikky makes a beefy three way adjustable rear sway as well. Hope this helps

I just recently upgraded my stock sway bar bushings to Superpro poly. They made a big difference on my 2010 IS250 AWD. I also installed lateral locks on the front bar. Great improvement for less than $100. My next mod is the RR USRS.

I have both Front and Rear F sport sway bars and it they definitely improved the handling of the vehicle.. If you able to buy the set I would do that
