Brake problem after brake pad change
I just changed out all the pads and rear calipers because the slide pin were stuck. When I test drive it, there was a pop sound and then the brake pad hit the floor, no brake pressure, and the brake warning light came on. It looked like the car leak brake fluid before I test drive it, but I'm not sure if it came from the the master cylinder reservoir. The reservoir cap rubber cap looked wet though, and even after the leak the reservoir is full of brake fluid.
What can cause the problem? I assume I have no brakes because the system cannot pressurize? Can I have broken the master cylinder or the cap when changing the pads?
thanks

OK, I JUST went through this and discovered that pin 5 on the light failure module was loose and solder had evaporated.
It LOOKED like it was secure, but inspection under a magnifier showed otherwise. A quick re-solder and everything works as it should.

Next did you push the rear brakes, and secure it with the caliper slide pins. Check through the ears of the brake pads. The pad shouldn't just pop out if it's secured. Check all lines are secured to the calipbers too.
