Today i replaced the LCAs in my 99 300 with the oarts numbers 48068-14080 and 48069-14080 and they slid perfectly in, i paid 263 and 288 respectively directly from two seperate toyota dealers. Extremely worth it to buy new arms than to change the bushings and chance it with a ball joint. I will edit in the links later when i get home

I've got a 92, with 93 parts car.

I've got a press, tools and shop. I'm pretty new to Lexus but I'd be inclined to pull the arms from my parts car and replace the ball joints and rebush with delrin. I'm also assuming OEM ball joints are available and not expensive. I've found Delrin bushings to be fantastic in my other cars.

Am I out to lunch?

The ball joints on the SC are not serviceable, to replace them you need to purchase an entire new arm. I believe the same goes for 98+ also?

If you figure out a workable option on ball joints, you will be in uncharted territory on here. As stated above, they are not replaceable. That is, unless you machine/weld something to fit. There was a guy on here a year or so ago that had researched the different ball joint shaft size/length/taper that Toyota and others had made and was going to work on something custom but I never saw any other posts on the subject. It just isn't worth it when you compare the cost of the ball joint, bushings, and the labor to make it all come together versus buying Supra arms.
