Default HELP! Rotors and Brakes

Ive had the worst luck when purchasing rotors. Rotors I've purchased have either rusted horribly or have been bent in some way shape or form. Currently on some stupid R1 Concepts rotors and EBC pads. Can anyone give me some opinions on GREAT rotors and possibly brakes. Looking for drilled and slotted, also black is a must have color. Ive also looked into some BBK but ouch . . . $$$$

PowerSlot or Centric blanks and Akebono ceramic pads; good performance-oriented combo for street driven vehicles.

^Have them on my car now, along with PowerSlot slotted rotors. Great combo, and the rotors still look great too!

Make sure you get the ones for the IS250, because the ones for the IS350 are different.

Let us know what you end up doing!

Powerstop I think are the ones we have on our 11' IS250. They are drilled and slotted and they have carbon ceramic pads. Have about 350 at my local autozone

Never been a fan of drilled and slotted, I would say go with one or the other. I like the look of drilled, but blanks or slotted offer the best stopping. The Akebono Ceramics are very good. Esp when they aren't cold. Having to be hard on the brakes with a ceramic pad can be worrisome, but it hardly ever happens.

I had EBC rotors once, didn't like them. I used to use only semi-metallic pads, but of course the dust is terrible. I got some Pagid Rotors recently on my BMW, which have a coating on them and are very inexpensive. I don't know if they are available for the lexus.

How about you tell us what the brand and model number is or genreal description name, so we know what you're talking about and those who have experience can chime in. You putting a series of numbers and letters tell us nothing about what it is. I'm assuming it's a part number but instead of making people search it for you, just tell us what you're looking to get bro.

LOL. That's fair. My bad. I updated my question above.

I haven't upgraded my rotors yet but have done a lot of research and opted to go with stop tech/centric rotors. They're local to socal and have a great reputation.
