OP, that said, the bar that you've got is just a stock OEM one. The sales guy probably got mixed up and thought OEM F-sport rear sway bar from an F-sport model ISX50.
Do you mean the sway bar i got is from an F-sport model ISX50 oem? or just OEM standard non-sport IS350 / IS 250 sway bar?

I did find this thread in another forum:

http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums...all-sway-bars/

Or the OP could try to locate a rear sway from an ISF. I sold my ISF rear sway to a member with an IS350 and he was very happy.

It looks like the Lexus PN for the ISF bar is 48812-30400:

Sorry I am quiet confused. I am new to car mechanics. I imported my IS350 from Lexus Japan. Will that mean I still have full sized spare? Can someone please explain to me full sized spare vs standard? bend bar vs straight? which one will fit?

Thank you!

^^^^The US version comes with a space saver space saver spare tire (a doughnut) not a full size size spare tire. The floor of the trunk in ISs with a full size spare is moulded differently and requires the rear sway bar to circumvent the area taken up by the spare tire. I do not know about the Japanese version of the IS. The space saver spare floor is moulded differently and the sway bar can go straight across. See photos attached.

^^^^The US spec F-Sport straight sway bar will be just fine then. The PN for the rear bar only is PTR02-53080.

I have taken these photos showing the oringal rear sway bar. Lools like its curving down abit. Will the straight rear f-sport bar work with my IS350?

Hi all,

I just spoke to my Lexus Dealership. He said the one i got is Genuine F-Sport Sway bar. He said the stock OEM part number one is 48812-53030 and the F-Sport sway bar is 48812-53070 . He said he could not recognize PTR02-53080 part number on his system. I am really confused right now. Any suggestion??

Maybe they don't sell them where you are. Here's an eBay listing from a dealer in Arizona:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-OEM-FA...JWOmEU&vxp=mtr

In any event your parts guy is wrong. If it's not available over there, try the ISF bar. I listed the PN in an earlier post.

^^^^If you haven't used it and the labels are still on it, you should get a refund. You have all the ammunition you need in this thread. If he refuses to help, speak to his boss. I'm sure they can special order it for you, or you can use the ISF bar or maybe you can find the F-Sport bar on the Australian eBay.

Thanks for your help. I manage to get my refund from the dealer. He said the PTR02-53080 sway bar is not genuine lexus part and said someone in the America must have made it as aftermarket product. He then go on there is no PTR02-53080 part on lexus system. What do you think of this?

Well, as I said. maybe they don't recognize that over there. And your parts guy is ignorant. But I can assure you it's a genuine part sold by Lexus dealers in the USA. I have one. Look at the attached PDF file. It's the instructions that ship with the part. What do you think?
