Default Rear Strut Replacment

Hey guys,

I need some advise if I should get my rear struts replaced at the Lexus dealership or at a local mechanic. Lexus quoted me about $500 for the parts and 500 for the labor. A local mechanic is charging me about 100 for labor if I provide the parts.

Also, if I plan on lowering the car in the future should I look into something else?

Look, you going to lower it anyways right ? why not do it now and save your money, buy a set of Coilovers bring it to local alignment shop, not mechanic, ALIGNMENT ! because they knows what to do plus they will align your car after a week once your suspension settle and cooldown.
