Default WTB Coilovers! Opinions? Facts?

ive been doing a little browsing, and dont know exactly what im looking for. Im wanting to close the wheel gap on my DD 2011 IS250. Currently im on the F-sport spring and shocks . . . btw are doing no justice for me. this will be my firs set of coils. Im on the 19's F-sport rims and not looking for anything crazy. Im just trying to close the gap, and get the best bang for my $$$$.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your wanting to spend the least money possible for a decent set of coil overs then I recommend the Megan Ez's. If I recall correctly they run about $800 which isnt too shabby.. I on the other hand went with the BC Racing coilovers for the added adjustability and blah blah blah. Those run about $1k and in my opinion are probably the most popular coilover setup on CL. Either one is good though..

THe BC Racing are by far the most popular brand on CL. Megan is decent but you will get alot more out of your money with the BC. PM me if you are interested and I'll give you a good deal.

Well if your trying to keep it at $1k then just go for the BC Racing coil overs. They are easily the best for the price. As for Tein and K sport, I wouldn't recommend them since I haven't heard anything great about them to be honest. But if you wanna only spend $800 then the Megan EZ's are the way to go.

Yeah, if $1k is your budget, get the BCRs with custom springs rates AND extenders for the rear. All of that you should be able to get for <$1k shipped.

Basically it's something that attaches to the top of the coil overs where you adjust the damping from. By adding the extender (which goes through the carpet) you can easily adjust your rear coils without having to move the trunk liner/ carpet or whatever you call that out of the way. I personally don't have them nor do I think they're necessary but It would have been nice to have gotten them when I bought mine. However like I said they aren't necessary..

Also if you still haven't decided just get the BC's like I said earlier. They're the best coils for the money and they fit your budget. And as Gville350 said above me, get some nice custom spring rates too if that matters to you. When I ordered mine I went for the standard 8k/10k spring rates (correct me if I'm wrong) and I've had no problems with it so far but of course that all depends on preference .

best bang for your buck if you just wanna close the wheel gap would definitely be the MEGAN EZ. Depending how you set them up will be depending on how long the shocks last and that goes for any coilovers. BC racing are definitely better then megan ez, but like you said, you just wanted a drop. I dono if the megan ez still go for around $550-600.
