Bought a set of SPC ball joints from a club lexus member last year and after installation one of them squeaked right away.. had it inspected to make sure and eventually replaced it with a brand new one. The warm weather has arrived this year and I have a squeak coming from the other side now so i suspect that the other ball joint is failing as well.. I paid $100 for the 2 ball joints so I can't complain about that price however the replacement I bought from a local distributor was $130. Sounds like I'm in for another $130 for the new ball joint.

Do the Megan Upper control arms have a good "track record"??

Looks like they are about $381 on Megan's website.

I have had mine on for about 2 years and 10 track days and no problems so far. Lots of adjustability and overall I am very happy with them. I am glad I went with them over the SPC's

Yeah I'm almost wishing i bought the megan UCA's right away.. as mentioned I'm not having any issues with the new SPC ball joint that i put on.. the ones i got from the fellow club lexus member weren't used but it seems as though they weren't greased properly or were just straight up faulty.. took about a week for the first one to squeak.. today was close to 75 temperature wise and i could hear the other one squeaking.. I haven't been listening in the morning when its a bit cooler but i will be tomorrow morning and from now on in the future. I've already contacted the local distributor for a new ball joint and might order one anyways so at least I have it. Today is the first day I noticed it but like I said it seems that the warmer weather brings out the squeaks.
