Default Dusty Brakes

What brake pads are you using on the 06 IS250 AWD that don't dust? I am not sure what pads are on the car now but they turn the wheels black

Is there a dual piston brake calipers available for the car, hasnt anyone done that swap? I have done that on an other car and have the dual calipers helped with the dust dramatically too

As far as OEM brake pads from Lexus for my IS350, they will all get dusty. I believe the pads mylparts.com and lexus sells are the updated pads meant to reduce brake dust. But they didnt seem much different to me when I got them. You can try aftermarket like EBC, stoptech, preject mu, etc.

04465-53030 is the Lexus part number for the low dust pads for the 2006-2008 IS250. These will have significantly lower dust levels than the stock Textar pads.

every brake makes dust no matter what, no pad better than Lexus OEM , if you want better grade go for HIGH PERFORMANCE, i'm talking about Brembo ! you'll get what you've paid for boys !

I highly recommend Akebono. Do searches here. I think you will find good things about them. They worked for me in cold weather, up to autocross. For track days, you need to upgrade, but I found good bite and very low dust for day to day. I'd buy them over oem any day.

I'm currently running Hawk HPS Pads on my IS250 AWD and the dust levels were way lower than when I had the stock pads on. Granted that the brake dust will start being noticeable after missing the weekly cleaning especially with the front I've been quite happy with them.
