Default BC Coilovers BANG BANG BANG

Hi guys, I installed BC coilovers to the car and have it pretty low.

This is my first Lexus and believe it or not is the only 1 in Northern Ireland that is lowered so im struggling, PLEASE HELP!

The slightest bump on the road etc and the front end sounds like it is going to slam through the wheel well into the engine bay. Its horrible.

I have read so many posts and threads about this and cant get a definitive answer... RCA's this and that, Tie rods and ball joints etc. Can someone please clarify it for me or point me in the right direction to a previous thread???

Sorry for ultimately reposting but im reading so many different answers and no one local can help me.

Excuse my poor fitment just got new wheels and waiting on spacers arriving

first off, nice looking car. I like how the yellow lights compliment the color of the car.

From the picture it doesn't look like you're any lower than my car and I get the BANG BANG when hitting really large dips or bumps. Its my upper control arms slamming into the shock tower. I was planning on cutting a 2 or 3 in diameter hole in each tower where the control arm hits but haven't gotten to it yet.

I guessing you're experiencing the same thing. Although you said you get this noise even after the slightest bump? Can you confirm that?

CHECK THESE:
1. Upper control arm not hitting the top of wheel well.
2. That you have properly tightened the collar rings on the coilovers. (jack up car and see if you can hand move any parts, if you can NOT GOOD!)
3. pretty much every blot you loosened recheck torque.

Thanks man, and yes this is what I thought the problem was but many people have told me those 35mm RCA's fix this etc although I was unsure how they would in anyway help and at a cost of near $200 plus shipping to Ireland...

I was going to cut the upper arm and remove about 3" from it then weld it back together, cutting a hole in the wheel well seems a bit easier thou but i'm unsure how doing either of these will affect the MOT test as it's fairly strict here for the car to be road legal.
