What size tyres
Hello, I am looking at replacing the 18" F-Sport alloys on my 2010 IS250
The alloys I am looking to run will be:
19x8.5 ET35 Front
19x9.5 ET35 Rear
Will be looking at very slight drop on the suspension when the coilovers go in but far from low.
What size tyres can I run safely without the need to do any arch work, ideally I would like to avoid too much stretch, but understand due to the difference in rim width and offset some may be required.
My calculations say:
19x8.5 ET35 225/35-19 Front
19x9.5 ET35 255/35-19 Rear
That seems to have minimal difference to the impact on the radius for the speedo and such, will these sizes be ok with no rubbing and safe to use?
If someone can please advise the best tyre setup it would be really appreciated.
Thank You

It isn't possible to get ET38 in these alloys unfortunately, ET35 is the closest I can get
I can see a lot of people on here use ET38 with a 10" wide alloy but a 9.5" at ET35 by my calculations will leave my alloy 9mm extra room to the strut and 3mm further away from the rear quarter.
Do you just suggest ET38 for the look? Will 3mm make that much difference?
Guess I could go to the trouble or 3mm spacers and 3mm longer studs into the hub if it bothered me?

You could be ok with the 9.5" my +38 were out toword the fender a little to much for me I had to use camber arms to get the tires to clear the fenders with the amount I lowered.
