What year is your car, what model do you have, and do you want the high friction or low dust pads? This is a 2IS thread, but your details say you have a 2014 IS350 F-Sport. If it's an IS350C, it's a 2IS, if it's an IS350 Sedan it's a 3IS.

2014 IS350 RWD Sedan F-Sport would have come with high friction pads.
2014 IS350 AWD Sedan F-Sport would have come with low dust pads.
2014 IS350 C F-Sport would have come with low dust pads in the USA and high friction pads in Canada.

I need details!

Jeff

Could I use the 04945-30330 shims for aftermarket brake pads? Or do they have to be oem? I'm swapping out my pads next week and it squeals so loud.

I would use 04465-30510 for your car along with 04945-30370 shims.

If the aftermarket pads didn't come with shims, 04945-30330, 04945-30350 or 04945-30370 should work just fine for you. I couldn't say with certainty which would be best suited to the pads you've selected, but they are all very similar/almost identical. You should be good with any of them.

I went with Akebono pads and Carquest Wearever rotors and have been very pleased with their performance. The Akebono pads make almost no dust and are squeal free. From what I've heard they manufacture the brake pads for Lexus and Ford as well as many other car companies. I was quoted over $400 to replace just the rear pads and resurface the rotors from the dealer...got four new rotors and did the front and rear pads for around $300. Moral of the story...I wouldn't be afraid to stray from OEM parts for brakes.

Jeff,

Are the front brake pad and shim part numbers 04465-30450 and 04945-30330 correct for a 2012 IS350 AWD? Are there any differences in years or RWD/AWD for the IS350 brakes?
Also, what are the correct part numbers for the front and rear rotors?
Thanks!

Yes, there are differences between AWD/RWD and Canada/USA.

04465-30450 are the correct pads and 04945-30330 are the correct shims for a 2012 IS350 AWD.

43512-30350 - Front RH Rotor
43516-30040 - Front LH Rotor
42431-30290 - Rear Rotors

Default low dust front pad for 2017 IS200t F Sport

Neither are the high-friction pads which are 04465-30500 (made by Textar, Pad Material: T4146).

Jeff
Jeff, is there a 'low-dust' OEM front brake pad for the Lexus 2017 IS200t F Sport? The OEM websites that I see don't show the 04465-30450 pad as an alternative for the 2017 IS200t F Sport.
Thanks John

The IS200t uses the same brake setup as the IS350, so all of the information in this thread applies to them as well.

I would use 04465-30510 for your car along with 04945-30370 shims.

Again, these are not the pads that came on the car and as such will not likely show up as applicable on websites that sell Lexus parts. They are however correct for the car.

Just picked up a replacement set of low dust. The updated blue ones from Bell Lexus of Scottsdale on eBay. Less than $50 shipped with the 20% off eBay coupon. Even without coupon they had the best price vs other sites. There still a few sellers offering the old green low dust pads on eBay for $50 shipped.

Can anyone provide part numbers for the rear pads and shims? Rotors are 42431-30290 as noted above
