Default Suggestions for shocks to pair with Tanabe df210 drop on GS430? for max comfort

Hey all,

Those of you that have Tanabe DF210 or a similar drop, what shocks should I be looking for to have the most comfortable ride?

Would love to hear your experiences and suggestions.

I will likely be riding on 18s as a daily driver.

Thank ya thank ya!

Lol what coilovers did you go with?

What's you're overall setup and how does it feel comfort wise from 1-10 if 1 is garbage and 10 is stock?

Looking forward to hearing the review!

How much did they run you if you don't mind?

Thanks!

Mine are installed with KYB Excel-G, a standard replacement for original struts. The ride quality is fine, barely changed from stock. I don't remember what stock feels like, after two years, but the ride is still very comfortable and quiet. Changing to 18" wheels will have more of an effect on comfort than the springs will.

Does anybody have pics of the Tanabe DF210's paired with the KYB Excel-G shocks installed on vehicle? This is the set-up that we have our sights set on.

Thank you!
I was considering bilsteins but I think the kyb will suit my needs just fine, if not better.
I think I've concluded that bilsteins B8 sport struts are recommended for lowered applications, but will result in a stiffer ride than the kyb.

Thanks for the help!

Able to snap any pics? Trying to determine if I will need to go with a lower drop prior to purchasing wheels.

Edit: Nevermind was able to find a unbroken pic link in the FAQ section
