Default Too much positive camber on front tires???

I recently changed the front tires on my 07 IS350 at 59K miles. The size is 225/40 R18 92Y. This is the 3rd set of tires. The OEM Bridgestones only lasted less than 20K miles. They were very soft with a low treadwear rating. The 2nd set were Continentals Extreme Contact DWS with a much higher treadwear of 540, but they lasted only 39K miles. These two sets of tires experienced high wear around the outside tread, leading me to believe the car came with too much positive camber. See attached pics. When I informed my local Lexus dealership they said this was normal. Skeptical, I discussed my issue with independent mechanic over the phone and he it may be "ball and joint" problem. Has anyone experienced this? Is this truly "normal"? Any advice is appreciated!

The IS has a tendency to eat out the inside edge of tires on the front due to the soft rear LCA bushings. The poly-urethane bushings from FIGs fixed it for me and several others. I haven't seen a problem with them eating the outside edge before though.

I would bring it to an alignment shop that specializes in alignments. Nonetheless, 39k on a pair of front tires is extremely good. I only get about 20k on mine and I have Michelin PSS. But I am slammed in the front.

Yes, research the poly LCA bushing upgrade. Great for handling AND saving money in the long run on your tires.
