Arrow Potential LS400 BBK upgrade, don't think my wheels clear?

Hey guys, I've done some research and from my understanding, any wheel from midspoke to rotor that is 2.75'' apart will clear the calipers. These are my stock Lexus wheels. I've tried measuring it (if I did it correctly) It doesn't even hit the 2'' mark, or maybe it did? Either way, it was under 2.75. So the only way to make it clear without getting new wheels is to get spacers? I've never dealt with spacers before so I'd have to get 4 to make the distance match between all 4 wheels i'm assuming, I'm also hoping that it won't look weird, if it is spaced 10-15mm with the wheels sticking out more.

and from my understanding 95-99 year calipers, stock sc300 bolts, and use ls400 rotors. Any other input to help make this project (might take awhile) complete.

Yeah you're on the right track, spacers will allow them to fit the width. BUT, the new issue is the height of the combined bigger rotors and calipers. If they are the 2nd gen GS wheels then I KNOW the supra calipers fit but not sure about the LS400. Someone will have to chime in and help ya. You could always just bolt them on and see, its a pretty easy affair.

Stock SC300 bolts with a washer or just buy the shorter LS400 bolts. You'll need a 15mm spacer to clear with those wheels.

Supra TT brakes have a larger diameter than LS400, so they'll fit fine.

Great! Thanks, I didn't realize these were 2nd gen GS wheels.

Do you guys have any suggestions on the size of spacers for a nice look? I guess obviously 15mm for the front 2, should I be getting 15 for the rear too? Or something like 25mm? and what brands would you guys suggest?

I think 15mm would be great all around. To me, spacers are spacers, any company will do.

Awesome, thanks for that. I hope I don't need to roll the rear fenders on 15mm but I think it should be fine.

Would it be weird if my front 2 rotors are a different size then the rear? If i were to change the rotors to LS400 the diamater would be bigger, and then I will change the rear rotors to match the look of the front, but i would have to get 2 sc300 rear rotors and maybe paint the stock calipers.

Its not uncommon to just upgrade the front brakes since it will take a huge majority of the weight while stopping. Some people do, some don't. It's very normal to have a smaller rotor in the rear than the front.

I found a post on craigslist for these for $200...Calipers,rotors, and new pads. I'm thinking it's a good deal. I just got new tires so I can't get new wheels... is it worth it to get these and then get spacers? I'm alittle bothered by the fact that spacers will cost around $300 so this upgrade will cost $500 if it goes through =(

Also if I do get the 15mm spacers, it shouldn't rub or I shouldn't have to shave off anything on the calipers, correct?

So I found a guy selling some spacers. It will be 20mm all around. Hope that will do. I made another thread about touching up on the caliper paint. There are some spots that are chipped. I might either try to touch it up, or just bolt it on as is.

This is what they look like. A bit closer.

No shaving required with the 15mm, but it looks like you're going with 20mm, so you should be fine.

So I finally got the brakes on the stock wheels. Spaced out 20mm all around but the tires will rub if I'm driving down a steep hill
