Default Pad replacement for 350 F-Sport

I love the feel and effectiveness of our brakes, but hate how badly they dust. Has anyone actually replaced their pads with ones that are as effective, but dust less. I'm looking for real-life experiences here, not theoretical discussions. Thanks for sharing.

Akebono ceramic better for the dust, pretty comparable stopping.

Have you had any issues with brake squeal?

Yeah I know they are super simple to swap out, and really not that expensive either. I used the Posi Quiet Ceramics on my RX8, but it was definitely a noticeable drop in braking performance. Dust was almost nonexistent, but I was disappointed in the impact to performance. What was your experience after making the switch Mesh704?

Does anyone know the part/model # for EBC red stuff for the IS250? I'm afraid I may have ordered the wrong ones.

Thank you sir. I also just spoke with someone at EBC and they confirmed.
I accidentally ordered the 350 pads on amazon after seeing the part number on these forums without doing any additional research or even realizing the 350 has bigger brakes!

OH NO! Are you going to be able to send them back, or are you kind of stuck. If you need to sell them, shoot me a pm as I might be interested... debating what if anything I want to do myself.

I went ahead and got a set of the Centric Posi-Quiet Ceramic pads, and put them on last night. I will report back on performance after I have had them on for a while. I'm sure it will help with dusting (and probably rotor wear), but am a little worried about braking performance. More to come...

Well I have had the pads on for a little over two weeks now, and am extremely satisfied! The issue with dusting is completely gone (wheels still look clean), and the performance is just fine. They do react a bit differently than stock in they do not bite as hard initially. However, they modulate very well, and overall brake performance is equal in my estimation - it just isn't as dramatic when you first touch the brakes, which I actually like now. Definitely recommend the swap for anyone looking to cut down on the dusting, and not lose brake performance. My guess is they will help prolong the life of the rotors as well. Oh, and these pads are just over $30 from RockAuto, so I think it was a great investment.

Do you have 250 or 350? Also, do you happen to have the part #s readily available....lazy here lol.
