Default TRD LCB Install??

This weekend I will be replacing my bend factory LCB with the TRD LCB. Would it be easier to pull my car up on ramps or use jacks in order to replace this part? I am assuming it will be easier with jacks thus taking the pressure off the suspension and relieving the tension on the brace, but I just want to make sure.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Chad

BTW, I did do a search and did not find an answer to this question.

Chad, I used ramps and had no problem. It was easy for me to slide right under the car and take it out. Just one bolt was kind of stuck.

Good luck.

Yeah whenever you're doing a chassis brace it would be great if you could get all four wheels off the ground.. With a ramp or just two front jacks you are causing the chassis to flex and you might have issues with alignment of the brace or "hard to remove/insert" bolts.

I used ramps and it was easy. And did not take long.

Job finsihed. I ended up buying a really nice jack with stands from sears. The entire job took me about 2 hours (inluding the trip to the store and dinner). Easy easy install. It was easier replacing this brace then to replace the side markers.

Thanks for the help.
