Default Supra tt caliper help

So I'm in the middle of installing my supra tt calipers and ran into a little problem. When I bought all the stuff for the upgrade I didn't buy stainless lines cause I thought they were already on the car, unfortunately they are only on the rear and not the front. I went to attach the gs's oem brake line and the little hook thing that's attached to the line that looks like maybe it's an anchor or something doesn't line up with the hole in the caliper, I didn't see a hole in it so I don't think it has fluid running through it. Anyways, I just moved the hook to the side and bolted the brake line in. My question is do I need to have the hook in the hole or am I ok the way I did it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially since my cars on jack stands right now and I can't go anywhere. Thanks

Yup done it many times, just make sure you hold the line, I used an appropriate sized wrench to stop it from turning.
