Default Pads and bedding

I'm at 53,000 miles and am needing new front pads, the cars been squeaking for the past couple 1000 miles and the pedal feels a little softer now.

I have a few questions, I think I'm going to go for OEM pads through ebay from one of the lexus dealers. (Gonna price them at my toyota dealer on monday)

Do you guys have any suggestions on different pads? I daily drive my car so theres no tracking or anything.

And finally, can someone explain the bedding process to me? It seems like i just need to take it easy on braking and do a couple of stops to get the brakes up to temp. Correct me if I'm wrong

And its a 2011 if that makes any difference

There are multiple threads here recommending brake pads, including one very recent thread. I'm surprised you missed it, since it was in the top 5 or 6 threads in this section.
