Front hub with wheel bearing?
Mechanic wants $250 to install a new wheel bearing. I also have to supply the part. Sounds a little expensive to me. I was just curious does anyone sell a new hub assembly with new bearing already pressed in? That way I can just buy it and install it myself.
My brother said I should be able to just buy a new hub and bolt it on, but I'm not seeing any with bearings. If anyone has a link or any info feel free to drop it. Worst comes to worst I can order the bearing, take the hub off myself, bring it down there with the hub, should cost a lot less right?

Agreed. I've also found that many of these sets come with Chinese hubs, which likely do not have the same strict quality standards that the OEM parts do and you may get vibrations from poor parts. I would buy a Koyo bearing and reuse the stock hub.
Like Tokin said, you can remove the hub and bring it along with the new bearing to a shop and they should do it for a decent price. Or you could just go to harbor freight and pick up a press with their 20 or 25% off coupon, which would bring the $129.99 model down around $100 and you'll have yourself a nice tool for the future.

Front bearing is easy to get online & not very expensive, though price will very depending on manufacture. If you need a new hub, they are not expensive either. Make sure you order the seals also.

You'll need new bearings, hubs, seals, Large nut and washer to do this. I'd also do both sides. You'll need to remove the entire knuckle and take it to a reputable machine shop My guess is they'll charge you $100.00 or so per side to press out the old stuff and press in new.
