You'll not find too many 2IS owners with Tein suspension. Here's info on the product directly from Tein's website :

I have Tein Street Advance. My car is Mark X GRX130 which is the basis for IS 2nd Gen IS250 (GRX133 is the basis for IS350 2nd Gen), our cars are using the same parts (same part numbers Tein Street Advance) and shares many other parts with each other.
My recommendation to you is to get Tein Flex A as they are full body coilover; the Street Advance is alright for my intended uses and purposes (street only, bumper to bumper traffic) but I would get the Flex A if I have to start all over again.

Almost forgot, becareful in selecting you Tein coilover, they come with JDM and US spec spring rates. JDM offers softer ride than the US spec

Thanks for all this information. Very informative. Do you happen to know how they they are at max setting?

I tried their max setting when I was riding on 19" (I now on 20") and it was bouncy due to the coilover is not a fullbody coilover. I would recommend you to get the Flex A instead. Frankly speaking I'm going to get the Flex A as soon as my fun money is refilled
