Default Yet another brake upgrade question

Hi all! Sorry I know it feels like beating a dead horse at this point but I'm trying to replace all my rotors. I'm only doing the front brakes upgrade to IS350. I've got the calipers from a 2IS 350 and dust shields already and I'm now looking to get rotors.

From what I've been researching I'm seeing that the 2IS 350 rotors should work with my upgrade since they're all direct bolt ons correct? So my question is whether or not it matters the year for the car? Like for example a 2011 IS350 rotor should work with my 3IS as long as I have the 350 rotor and pads and a 2012 IS250 rotor should work for my rears?

I'm sorry if it sounds a bit confusing but I wanted to confirm before purchasing. Thanks so much!!
