Default Looking for opinions on spacers from experienced modders

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death all over the Internet, but I will try to be more direct here.

The obvious best choice is to get aftermarket wheels with correct offsets. I understand that. But I want to keep my stock wheels.

I have read way too many times of horror stories about spacers and then for every horror story I read stories of people who swear by spacers if installed correctly. People are generly on one side or the other.

What I'm looking for is other members who have a lot of experience with suspension and building suspension set ups and experience with spacers who can personally comment as to whether they would gladly reccomend their use or to stay away at all costs.

From my understanding, hub centric, reputable company and not crazy wide (mm) are key.

So if you were doing spacers, which brand and size would you personally feel 100% confident to daily drive?

H and R? Ichiba? Another brand?
10 mm? 15 mm? 20mm?

Price per quality, Ichiba wins.

I had Ichiba 25F/20R, on RSR coils, and their great.

Any reputable Japanese brand should be ok - Kyo Ei, Digicam, Fic. They are studded, hub centric and not cheap. But will definitely do the job and give You peace of mind )

I used +15mm front and +20mm rear and was pleased with the look, no rubbing or other problems.

hubcentric. just do it. you dont want to deal with a car without them. very annoying.
when youre buying spacers you should know whether youre going to have enough stud to
thread onto. if not you can replace your studs with extended ones or get spacers with studs on them.
make sure you use the right hardware to put these on and that your stock studs dont hit the back of your wheels.
im currently running fic 10mm up front to clear my brakes (barely)
hope that helps
