Default BC vs RSR

So i'm debating on whether i should wait for the AWD BC coilovers, or go with the RSR Coils. The BC's are a little cheaper and i've always had BC's on all of my cars, but i was wondering what people on here prefer. the only thing im worried about with the RSR coils is the softer spring rates, i have 19x10 +38 wheels and don't want to run into rubbing issues if i opt for the softer spring rates. Any opinions welcomed, thanks!

Personally, RSR trumps BC in quality any day. But you have a valid reason to choose the stiffer spring rates. what are the differences in rates?

RSR offers front 10k/rear 8k and i see most people get 12k/10k with BC's and say its great.

what spring rates do you have with the swift springs? and did you have to get the RSR's re valved to work with the swift springs?

IMHO opinion, 2kg isn't going to make a big difference in wheel travel in terms of wheel clearance going up driveways and such. I would go with RSR in that case.

I went with 12/10 swift springs. Do not need revalve for 2k up. May even get away with 14/12 but it's pushing it. I put these back on my car and prefer a feel of coil overs. But then again I hardly drive my car only 16k on the odo

I have BC Coilovers on my 3IS... 12k/8k setup.
It rides very well.. I'd say near stock and it has a wide range of dampening setting so you can probably go softer than stock.

However, I don't like it because personally, it makes too much noise. There's rattles, thumping sounds, etc. Maybe I have a bad set because I tightened everything but it still makes some clunks and other sounds on the road. If you have an exhaust or play music, it won't be as prominent. But the noises don't necessarily make me feel safe about the quality of the suspension.

Spend the extra money and go with RSR, it's overall higher quality and I haven't heard any complaints from anyone here about them.

RSR are the better setup by car. Over many years of selling the two, the BC racing tend to make a lot of rattling noises and there shocks blow pretty easy compared to RS-R.

We have some amazing deals on RS-R going on right now.
