oreillys resurfaced my TT rotors for 30 bucks. i'll sell em to you if you want, can get started on your TT brake setup. advance auto sells TT front calipers for 100 a piece, if you can find them in stock.

When you say that you have "racing rotors", what do you mean exactly? Are they drilled, slotted, or drilled and slotted? If so, no shop will turn those. Once they're done, they have to be replaced. Also, does your car vibrate when you hit the brakes at all? If not, it's unlikely you need to have the rotors replaced. Just change the pads for now until you decide if you want to upgrade them to TT or LS400 calipers along with wheels that clear those.

I had that same experience years ago when I paid a large sum of money to have a new battery installed. I was looking back for the receipt (it died like one month out of warranty...) and couldn't believe how much I wasted on something I knew by then to be one of the easiest things you can do on a car.
LIkewise, brake work is fairly intimidating if you don't know the steps, being a fairly mysterious looking contraption and vital safety equipment. I've watched my mechanic a few times now while doing struts and wheel studs, and finally feel like I'm familiar enough to change pads myself without giving it a second thought.
They're +50, same as stock SC wheels. They only have a sliver of clearance over stock SC calipers in front. It would require a thick spacer to clear LS calipers, and possibly a fender pull.

Yeah, I'd need new wheels. A 25mm spacer at my height, would rub on tight turns.
I wish I had a garage to tinker around in. I heard the secretary mention to someone they could turn the rotors. I will ask if it can be done. They had the car in a lift when checking.
Also, I don't have vibration while braking. Don't think the rotors are uneven.

I didn't read the sig, if you have brmebo rotors just leave them be and tell them to change the pads.
eventually when you brake at high speeds you will feel that vibration that tells you the rotors are warped, and with brembo rotors that may be several pad changes cause they are good quality. I would not change them out until it gives issues, just do the pads. good luck!
