Default School me on air can suspension (Canovers?)

I've located a pretty good deal on some used air suspension for my GS. The front uses air canisters instead of a traditional bag and strut setup, and I can barely find any information about them.

In the few threads I could find, there was a lot of talk about seals wearing out and the cans leaking air and needing to be rebuilt. Several threads mentioned Canover Suspension company from Japan, who seems to be out of business. The seller claims not to know who made them and that there are no logos, part numbers, or markings on the cans themselves. I believe he's selling for a friend and said he would ask that friend, but I haven't heard back yet.

Anyway, can you guys help me out with these things? I would like to rebuild them before they end up under my car, but I don't know where to start. Is there still a company around who makes them, could they be rebuilt by a hydraulic shop, etc.?

These are the items in questions. The bags are UAS air struts for the rear:

Oh, and the seller's description of the front:

Front set up:
Front Air cans, Top mount (Lexus) and bottom extensions on the cylinder. This is the way to build GS front ends. Normal bags will rub no matter what you do.
