Default A different coilover/shocks thread

Hey guys, okay so in the future I'd like to lower my car a bit but I have a few concerns. I don't want to jeopardize the reliability of my suspension system and I don't want to have to buy any kind of camber kit. I also want to be able to lower my car as much as possible without effecting tire wear(if that's possible).

I use my car as my daily driver so reliability is a must. As far as feel goes, I'd like to keep the softness of the stock ride if possible.

So, my question is, what is my best option here? Should I just wait until I can invest in a good set of coilovers for a small drop or would it be more cost effective to get a good set of lowering springs that lower the ride about an inch or less and some good quality aftermarket struts?
