Default Swift Springs for ISX50

I have been going back and forth between ordering the RSR Down or Tein H-Tech Springs for my IS350. I am new to Lexus and it seems like the preferred brand for springs is RS*R.

However, it looks like Swift has released their lowering springs for the 3rd gen IS. I had swift springs on my WRX and I was very happy with hem. It looks like they fall right in between Downs and H-Tech at 1.1" drop.

What are your thoughts?

front and rear drop are the same 1.1" all around, might have an issue on how the car sits not like Tanabe NF that the front 1.4" and 1.1" in the rear. Still interesting though coz swift makes very good springs

Was able to get some of their springs installed on my car for testing. I believe they are making some adjustment and bringing my car in again to test a new set. I've had them on my car for about a month and love them. TBH I didn't really see any ride quality changes since I got them (very minimal if any).

It's definitely a mild drop and probably won't be noticeable to the untrained eye. I actually prefer the look since I like my car to look somewhat stock. I'm not very familiar with lowering springs so can't give the best review. There's some info on their site though. http://www.swiftsprings.net/products...t-springs.html

The rear spring rate is the softest of all lowering springs but Tanabe has the softest front, I am having difficulty deciding between tanabe nf210 and swift but the spring rates looks good also

you can't go wrong with Swift springs, they are the best spring company in japan. I'm still waiting on some results and before and after pictures.

I did have rusting problem on my STI when I had the Tanabe's GF210 springs and the ride quality was horrible due to unmatched spring rate vs shock rate. But im sure they fixed all that now. You really want to keep as close to factory spring rate as possible for comfortable ride.

yeah I bought a set for my 2IS and match it to the F-Sport shocks, I just decided on tanabe on the 3IS because the NF has the closest to stock spring rate specs

This should the IS come outfrom the factory, need to lift the rear a tad little more. Hows the ride though?

Yeah, I like the look a lot because it looks stock to the untrained eye (definitely should have come this way from the factory). The ride quality is awesome. It's pretty much a stock-like ride, I barely noticed any changes in ride quality. Car also feels more solid and grounded on turns but that could just be a placebo effect haha.
