Leading edge chamfer or scallop?
Picked up OEM front pads. Pads are not marked Left or Right
I can pair the pads (inner-outer) in 2 combinations based on edges. One gives me short chamfer on one edge and the deep scallop on the other end.
I am leaning towards installing with the deep scallop as the leading edge of the pad to forward spinning disc as it will provide chamfer till the pads wear out.
Any agreement or disagreement?

Answering my question for the benefit of future readers ..
Keep the wear indicator towards the bottom (leading edge). Then just pair up the outers.
