Default 2014 Lexus IS250 F-Sport (RWD) - Sustec Strut Tower Bar TTB177F

I didn't see anyone post about Tanabe releasing a Strut Tower bar for the 2014 3IS RWD.

So here's the link:

Not true. This is currently available. It's the same part as the GS. I've approached tanabe about this for my 350 Awd Fsport and its said to not be " tested " as for the rwd, it works. Same part number. You lose the dust covers to the avs modules. Fyi

Jack,

Yes, those items should be coming in middle of November.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Email from Tanabe back in mid Sept,

I then contacted Options Auto mid October and orders have now been pushed back til mid December. You can place an order
but good luck on getting one shipped out the next day or the day after.

With all that said the part numbers are different the IS250/350 is TTB177f and the strut bar for the GS is TTB170F

Wouldn't this increase the car's preference to understeer without a stiffer rear sway?

This should fit the AWD, wouldn't it? I can't see any reason that the AWD and RWD would differ above the valve cover.

I had many of emails with Tanabe about this very topic. They aren't the best with prompt replies and they specifically told me that they cant support the fitment since the cars are different. Per tanabe, they said it fit a non F sport but didnt fit an f sport. I personally dont believe it and call BS. The part is actually for a GS. Thus, the shock tower from end to end should be the same.

I lost 20% on a restocking fee for their under brace when I specifically designated that my fsport 350 is AWD yet the part is ONLY for a RWD application. Long and short, they dont care to support us awd folks unless someone can go to Cali with a car and let them do their thing. I'l

My sitrep: I ordered from a local vendor in mid November. Told to expect it in mid December. On 12 December, I was told it's on the boat and it will be in California in 2 weeks. So I'm expecting it in early January.

It's not listed on their website but I don't see why it wouldn't
