Will lowering your car ruin the suspension
I guys i recently bought a second gen gs300 as a project car and i'm thinking of lowering
it using coilovers except i heard that it may ruin my suspension.
I hope theres not too much of a difference i just think the car will look so much better.

yes, it would unless its a very small amount. this car has alot of suspension ticks like caster arm bushings, lbj, noises/creaks etc. costs money to fix and since its so heavy and you lower it its service intervals will be shorter. its just extra money....gotta pay to play as they say

Ruin it?
NO.
Make it less comfortable and possibly create more maintenance - probably.
Don't let it dissuade you though as it's jus the price you pay for better looks and handling - heck even factory cars when they are the "sport version" etc. (think BMW "M" or AMG and what have you) have issues since the manufacturers lower them and add thicker sway bars, firmer dampers etc.
If you're asking it it'll "ruin" your plush ride then most likely it will - if you're asking if it'll destroy your car and make it fall apart - NO.
If you want to lower the car without any change in ride quality then you can choose RCA's - but that wil only get you a max of about 40mm front and 30mm rear.

Just don't lower it too much and you'll be fine. Stay away from the ridiculous looking "VIP" or Hellatoiletflush look and you and your suspension will be much happier.
