Wide Wheels?
Just bought my first IS yesterday "Living Australia btw too", looking around for new wheels at the moment. Ill probably get either Work VS-XX's or a nice set of SSR's.
But the only issue I'm having is offset, I also own a Supra and am very used to being able to fit almost any size wheel on it have 19 x 10.5's on the Supra at the moment.
Can anyone help me with a comfortable rim size that will work with the IS?

Ah ok, I have seen some with pretty wide ones at the back but wasn't sure if they had done any work on the guards or not.
Thats good then I have 10.5's all round on the Supra at the moment and was about to upgrade to 12's.

Here are some examples. Most basic setups for an AWD range from an 8.5"-9.5" up front (the wider needs more work). 9.5"-10.5" in rear.

I am running 18x9 +38 255/40r18 front and 18x10 +38 285/40R18 rear ... No modifications but I have slight rubbage when turning in the front also on 1.25" drop with 14k/12k spring rates on full stiff for dampening adjustments...

Hey mate I live in Australia too and just got my SSR Koenigs today! The specs are 18x9+4 in the front and 18x10+4 in the back, i test fitted them without camber and coilovers and they poke a lot but once the camber is on i reckon everything will tuck nicely, heres a photo of the front.
*EDIT* Also will be having my guards rolled but not a big hassle!

I've also been looking lately at Work Rezax, theres a set for sale atm I'm considering. Sizes are 18x9 +9 18x10 +7.
Anyone know what this will be like on the IS? Will many adjustments be needed etc?

Well if you look at my set up, the dimensions are the same and the offset is slightly different, so theyll be similar fitment to mine!
