Check headlight system
Hey CL,
I have a 2011 Lexus is350 and I just recently lowered it myself with a friend and it was a fun but time consuming job. We installed the fsport sway bars and fsport springs. (My fiance bought them for me for my birthday, so they are brand new if you were wondering.)
After we finished, I turned on my car and got the message "Check Headlight System". I scoured the forum and looked through every thread and what came up was "afs". I went back lifted my car and adjusted the little arm for the AFS, and turned on my car, and it went away.
The next day I drove and went over speed bump slowly (a very low speed bump ) and the notification came right back on. So I'm busy and another week passed. I get some time and adjust the afs thing again, but this time, it does not make the message go away.
Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance!

Big shout out goes to another member here StevenLChe. He discovered that there is a trick to tightening the arm. He had to hold down the arm with some pressure and then the nut was able to be tightened.
Thanks bro!
