Default Stop Sale

Tried to order them today and the warehouse has 68, but still under a stop sale. Anyone have updates?

I contacted Lexus corporate and they originally said it would be available after 1/1/2015. I kept checking with my dealership to order and they said it's still on stop sale. I emailed corporate back again and they said after the 1/26/2015. Tried to order again through my dealership and no luck. I just emailed corporate yesterday for status again as to why it's still not available. I'll keep you posted when I hear something.

I talked to Swelle Lexus today and they are unsure of why, but they did tell me the warehouse has 68 in Ontario, CA.

According to corporate it's on a Stop Sale 2 which means there an issue with the installation instructions according to them.

Sounds like this could be an easy fix. How many different ways can you install springs? I thought it would be the same install no matter what brand the springs are.

for the people that want to order the f-sport suspension as an upgrade, i dont think any dealers would work with you to resolve your issue

however, if your issue stems from a real issue (ie. leaky strut), i would suggest you go down to your local dealer and demand them to resolve this issue. i was trying to replace my struts since like last oct2014/nov2014 and i dont think this stop sale will be lifted anytime soon.

i told him you guys stopped sale on a part i need for me to drive my car and i am not going to replace my entire suspension system because the part is currently not available. by law, you are required to keep producing parts for the car even after the car model has been discontinued, let alone my car is only 6 years old (2008 is350). so now i am without a car because you guys have your own internal issues and i need this fixed. give me a loaner until the stop sale is lifted or sell me the part that i need that youre holding in your warehouse.

he told me to bring my car down to the dealer so they can verify my story (car bottoms out even after the small bump on the road)

i know that came off a little harsh, but the service manager was extremely helpful and understanding. he resolved my issue and i am extremely happy with the service lexus provides

-One happy lexus owner

I may end up going with Tanabe, I am not looking for a massive drop as my driveway has a 15-20% incline and a pretty big curb. Anyone have had a chance to try out both (F-Sport & Tanabe)? I am most likely going to get 19s this summer.

I found some on eBay from a Lexus dealer in San Diego. These were the last set they had and pretty much last set available for sale before the stop sale.

I'm starting to really hate Lexus Corporate...

We appreciate your patience while we researched your concern. The parts listed above are currently involved in a stop sale are: PTR13-53093 Right Front , PTR13-53094 Left Front , PTR13-53095 Rear. Currently there is no ETA for the end of the stop sale.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

First they told me it would be available after 1/1/2015. Then after 1/26. Now they don't know at all.

If it helps, Lexus Laval (Canada) has the F Sport shocks. They're way overpriced though, but if that's what you really want, that's the place to get them from.

I was able to pick up a set of springs from San Diego Lexus, maybe worth a shot to ask them to see if they have any in stock.

I'm looking for F sport shocks not springs. I already have the springs.

I tried to order the AWD F-Sport Shocks (ptr1353090, ptr1353091 and ptr1353092) from mylparts.com. Apparently those shocks are also on stop sale. I originally thought it was only the RWD version, as Sewell had the RWD listed as discontinued but the AWD versions are shown as available.

Yeah I noticed that too. I tried Lexus parts now as they are not a dealership but a OEM catalog vendor. I did a live chat with a service rep and they said it was available but on back order. I asked them to confirm with a manager or supervisor as I told them that Corporate has it on Stop Sale and he said they can order it and will take 1-2 weeks to receive then ship out to customer. But we'll see. It does cost more than what sewell charges with CL discount but since they're closing, not sure what other options there are if you really want them. besides waiting to see if the stop sale is lifted.

Lexus Parts Now is an online service that supplies parts from Lexus dealerships, I doubt they would have any different luck than another dealer unless they deal with a dealer that has them in stock and doesn't need to order them.
