Want to replace shocks.. need recommendations
I want to replace my shocks in the future because I believe I have the original shocks and my ride is pretty floaty and bouncy at times. I've been thinking about getting coilovers more for the performance than the lowering. I'd like to keep the feel as comfortable as possible while making the performance much better.
My main concern is that I don't want excessive wear from lowering so I'd only want to lower it maybe an inch or less. I also want the toughest coilovers available because the main reason I bought a lexus was for reliability, so I only put good quality parts on my car.
From my research into the topic, I've heard the best choice for my criteria are stance coilovers because they are durable, comfortable, and have good performance.
Let me know your guys thoughts, thanks!

coilovers wont really give you aggressive wear if youre only dropping it about an inch or so and it matters more on your alignment if anything, but it all depends on your budget. ive had good luck so far with my bc racing coilovers. i ordered higher spring rates as well and theyre cheap..

My budget is as inexpensive as possible, without compromising on quality. If I can't go with coilovers for a relatively inexpensive price then how much would it cost to refurbish my stock shocks? And what parts would I need?
Thanks guys!

maybe bilstein stock replacements with a good set of springs? but thats gonna almost cost as much as coilovers in the end... if not i would suggest finding a set of used coilovers. quality is usually going to cost you... bc and stance only go for about 1k and thats with what ever spring rate you want. cheapest alternative i see alot of gs guys go with are megan coilovers but i honestly dont like how they ride.
