Default L-Tuned steering ECU

I wanted to get some feedback about the steering ECU. I wanted to purchase it but wanted to know if it is worth buying and if it makes a big difference. The steering now is really lose at high speeds, I would love to have it tighter. what do you think?

Try the "search" function. There is plenty of feedback available.

Becareful. One of the things the search will tell you is that the GS430 does NOT come with L-Tuned. I know for a fact that the 2003 GS430 DOES come with L-tuned stock. I believe the 2002 does as well - not sure about the 2001.

I have the Steering ECU but I don't think it makes that much difference. People have said it "tightens" up the steering wheel but I disagree. If anything, it makes the steering a bit more precise, the slack in the steering wheel is reduced so just a little movement on the steering wheel will cause the car to move left/right. It's not expensive, you might as well just get it and if you don't like it, I'm sure there are others here on the classified section that would be glad to take it off your hands
The steering on the GS is VERY loose and that really sux. I hope to get my steering pretensioner tightened soon and hopefully that'll help.
