SA says 100k mi but they can go out sooner dependent on driving style. I personally feel 75k mi is a good time to start looking at changing them.

Mine blew at 95k miles. Probably started to leak earlier.

My shop doesn't replace them until they are leaking or making noise. Unless you want to do preventative maintenance.

Most shocks usually are rated for 80k but depending on driving style and location, they can last alot longer, or alot shorter. I have had shocks last 150k miles plus on oem, and then again i had others that blew after 15k.

My IS350 shocks last 90k miles and still works fine with no leaking. I changed them to F Sport springs/shocks anyways as preventive maintenance.

My IS250 sport shocks are at 35k miles on Eibach lower springs. I drive it hard everyday and the suspension is still working like 1st day. I expect it to go to 60k miles on this one and then I will go coilovers

Are shocks carrying the 50k miles/5 years warranty from Lexus??

My front shocks started to leak at 25K. But then I am pretty hard on my car. You just never know.

Yah but the OEM shocks were leaking after my 5th track day! The crappy So Cal roads don't help either though. But all in all I don't baby my IS and she takes it like a champ.

Currently running BC coilovers with swift 12/10K spring rates. Really like them. Great on the street with the dampening turned down and huge improvement on the track when set up correctly.

I'm thinking about going BC coils for my IS250 using 10k/8k spring rates (no Swift upgrade). How does the ride quality compared to stock? If not, would the softest settings on dampening make it stock like assuming only lower around 1inch or so with plenty suspension travel. I mainly run my IS250 as daily driver with occasional autocross.

How many clicks do you use (1 being softest and 32 being hardest) for daily and on track?

I really like the higher spring rates and think the ride is great. It is a bit firmer than stock but not bouncy or jarring at all. You notice it for sure if you hit a big pothole or speed bump but for everyday driving I would never go back to the OEM spring rates. But I do prefer a firmer ride so I might be a bit biased. I am running at 16 clicks on the front and 12 on the rear for everyday driving. For tack I generally stiffen it up about 10 clicks on each end. All in all very happy with the setup
