For those who tracks their 3IS RWD, are you running square wheels and tires setup? if not, what seems to the most beneficial?

The 3IS RWD, seems to show a considerable amount of understeer. You might want to go staggered if you want to correct that, assuming you can adapt to that.

German cars, like the M3, I believe are in a staggered setup that's why they are easier to throw around. I don't track my 3IS RWD, but I haven't really understeered in a freeway entrance/exit. I'm not trying to push my luck lol

They are already staggered from the factory. 225 front and 255 rear.
You would need a square setup to correct understeer.

I haven't tracked this car and I won't, but if I were I'd go square for the neutral handling aspect. I know guys who have tracked staggered and been fine with it. I guess it all comes down to looks vs handling. Some guys can live with a bit of understeer for the look of staggered. If I was tracking a GT3 then I'd stay with staggered

You probably already know staggered is for looks unless you have a car that needs more meat out back. 306 HP in my opinion isn't enough to justify, but it looks sweet.

I am interested in this as well. I know a square setup will reduce a good bit of the understeer. I was actually just searching for how wide I can go in the front. Ideally Id like to go 265/35/18 all around, but not sure that will work up front.

I wonder if rear f sports wheel fit on the front.

Just so we are on the same page, I believe the rear wheels are 18x8.5 +50 and the front wheels are 18x8 + 45. I use this: http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp to see what will or wont likely fit. So the rear wheels with a 255 tire might work on the front with a 5mm spacer, would have to test fit to see. It says will stick out an additional 10mm to the outside and 20mm closer to suspension, the 5mm spacer would even that to 15mm inner and outer increase. So ideally an 18x8.5 with a +45 offset wheel to avoid the spacer. Any wider of a tire/wheel and would need lower offset +35-40, but then it sticks out more so there may be some fender clearance issues. Hopefully that all makes sense.
