Not the same make but I had 12k/10k spring rate on my bc coils with swift spring upgrade. Most claimed the car felt stock as swift springs are a bit stiffer and I was able to soften the dampening in the front and rear. This is just from my experience so I cant say for 100% if this would be the same outcome if you went ahead and did this with ur sc.

I almost went the shock/spring route, but after some more thorough searching I was able to find those H&R street performance coilovers I had been looking for. Contacted many distributors out here in the states and no one could get them because they are supposedly discontinued, but there are still some sets out there in europe. I got mine from a distributor in Germany. Hopefully they will be here by this week or next. I will update with pics if everything works out, I'm still a little bit skeptical even though they've been shipped already, almost like they are gonna be for another car or something lol we shall see...

There is a good reason that the results shown in the bilstein diy coilover thread lean towards a closer to stock height. The car handles awesome like that, look at some of the road tests for the 94 tt, you will notice it pulls around one G on the skid pad.
After seeing how poorly a lowered car handles, there,s no way I would send my woman down the road like that, but that's just me, I'm old and paranoid...
The roll centers change rapidly when the control arm angles are moved more than maybe .75".
