Lowering my SC3; worried about exhaust. Pictures and video within.
Long story short, I bought some new wheels, tires and coilovers and I've got a laundry list of things to do before they go in!
One of them is my exhaust. I'm worried it sits too low and will scrape frequently when I drop my car.
Do I need to do anything with it? I don't want to put a hole in it, or worse, snap it off at my turbo, etc.
Car is at factory height in pictures on 18" wheels with 40 sidewall all around.
Goal will be to have a flush look with the new set up and no finger gap between well and wheels.
New wheels are 19" front and rear with a 35 sidewall up front and a 30 sidewall in the rear.
Exhaust is a full 3". I'm 1jz swapped, single turbo, which is reasoning for the 3"
Thanks for any input.
From front of car:
Rear of car
Measurement at downpipe; about 3.5" from floor to pipe.
Middle section at a flange; roughly 3.5" of clearance
Rear section, close to 4" of clearance

You should be ok. I run a 3.5'' dual exhaust on my SC with my LS swap, and while I do scrape at times, its generally minimal and over speed-bumps. When I did have my 2JZ in, I ran a full 3'' turbo back with similar minimal ground contact, and the streets here in Houston are horrible.
If you concerned about creating holes in your exhaust from scraping, weld a skid-plate to the low points of your exhaust pipe.
