I am looking to purchase a set of wheels for my newly acquired 93 SC300. There are lame 17s on it that have way too low of a profile to look like it halfway belongs, plus I just don't like the wheels. Also, the rear pass. tire keeps losing air over a few days and I'm getting tired of refilling it for wimply lil' 225s.

I was looking at some Varrstoen 6 spokes, that everyone runs, from a guy, 19x9.5/10.5 +22 both front and rear, with tires for a good price...plus they're anodized purple and I like purple, and think it'd look hot against my pearl white SC. Anyways, I wasn't quite sure how much camber they'd need, or a stretch, or rolling to pull them in so they'd fit right, so I went out into the garage...

I have 2 sets of wheels out there, Volk GT-Ps where the rears are 18x10 +25 with a 275/35 and Racing Hart M5s with Supra/300ZX fitment where the rears are 19x10 +37 (I think it's 37) with 275/30. I tried them both on and here's how they look. I couldn't get far away pics cuz my 300ZX was next to the SC, and I really didn't feel like moving the Z out of the way anyways. Keep in mind, this is stock suspension at stock height, just wanted to see how much the wheels poked out from the fenders, or how sunk in they were, etc.

Looks like they'll be an easy fit.. natural camber during lowering would probably make the latter a bit sunk.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Perhaps the +20ish range of wheels won't be TOO bad once it gets lowered and has some tweaking. Maybe some +30s would be juuuuust right.

I previously ran a 17x10.5+20 on my SC with a 295/35 and had to roll my fenders even with -1* camber. You could add more camber if needed, the stock adjustment rate is normally enough to clear a +20-25 offset range with the proper tire choice.
