Default Weird rear tire wear problem

So I went to formula D new jersey this week end (~700km drive). We were 4 in the car. arrived at the venue and noticed rubber all over my trunk. looked under the car to see the interior of both tires completely worn out in an uneven way. they were used like if it had toe, patches missing, and othere places still in relatively good shape. Really really uneven. so we went back to the hotle and jacked the car to see if there was rubbing or any loose parts. The only "play" we found was a little front to back play on the passenger side rear wheel but it was barely noticable and not clunking (maybe a worn out bushing?).

Anyways I went to a garage and switched the tires and raised my suspension to do get back home, we stoped a couple of time to monitor the wear and heat. Obviously the tire was really hot on the inside and sidewall, but not on the outside.

anybody had this problem or an uneven wear and know what have caused it?
