I'm considering spacers for my car. I've read the thread about the Ichiba spacers and will likely go for h&r or project kics. What is the general consensus around using spacers at stock height? I've read that 20mm can sometimes rub (in case I lower in the future) and as such, I'll probably go 15mm. Does anyone have any suggestions on where they can be ordered? Any pics of 3IS with spacers on stock suspension? Thanks

I'm running 20 mm AKATA spacers all around with RS*R Down Springs and I don't have an issue with rubbing. There are a couple people that runs 25 mm front and 20 mm rear with minor issues.

Anywhere after 20mm, it just depends on how low you are.

I'm on coils and have 20mm rear spacers, and would rub going up a driveway, because my car is slightly too low. Flush stance is the best stance.

project kics are very high quality, also remember that spaces are very heavy...you would be adding about 5lbs each corner

are spacers needed when lowering the car? I just picked up a 2014 IS350 and I want to lower them on RS-R lowering springs. what would the spacers do?

I don't think you need any spacers at all unless you want to poke your wheels out which could create more work/problems for you. What you would probably need to do when lowering your car are adjustable rear camber kits (I think the front ones are adjustable to some extent). You might also need to roll your fenders if it starts rubbing on your tires once the springs settle down after some time the car has been sitting on it.

Spacers are not needed for lowering your car. It just makes the stock 18s look awesome! LOL it doesn't add 5 lbs per corner...

the springs only lower about an 1-1.3inches! and i would be buying 19's. dont think i will have a problem with rubbing or anything in that matter.
