BC Racing BR Coilover - Spring Rating
Evening all
You're probably thinking, another ratings thread.
Just want some information & feedback if you can kindly help.
I want to lower the ride of my car, but don't want to lose too much of the ride comfort as the car currently stands (stock MK2 SE). It's currently on stock 17's with 235/45R17.
I will change the alloys at some point, but the idea is to lower the car on stock for now.
Which suspension rating do you guys recommend for front and rear?

I went with 16/12 but would've done 18/14 because of how low I like to ride. However, roads in the UK are pretty horrible so depending on how low you plan on riding you may want to go with a softer rate to compensate.

The roads in the UK aren't great. I want to more so get rid of the gaps in the arches to a better look. Not going ridiculously low.
Someone has recommended 10k by 10k - any idea on how that would be, more so a question to someone who may have had experience with that configuaration.
BC do a 10/8k - but from reading the forum, many did not like this setup due to being too stock like?
So I'm wondering perhaps 12/10K - any feedback from those who use this?

I run 12/10...the roads here are average. The ride is great for a daily, I have the dampers set around the middle setting. I have about a 1" gap between tire and fender. Depending on your driving style, you'd probably want a 12/10 or a 14/12.
I've also heard that the standard 10/8 is a little too soft. If I had to do it over, I'd probably go with the 14/12.

My driving style is pretty much cruise. Ever so often I'll give it a good spirited drive.
12/10 may be one to look out for. Just thinking to myself, do I want to settle for 10/8 and then perhaps regret it later being too soft
